It’s that time again! Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is upon us and this time we get a sneak peek at what is coming for Fall 2012. I’m hoping next fall is ACTUALLY FALL weather-wise because the jackets and coats coming down the runway from BCBG Max Azria are stunning statements.
Fur is back again for luxury and texture this time in sleeves and scarves and some gorgeous blocked cropped jackets as well. These will pair well with anything – jeans are begging for them.
BCBG Max Azria is known for their modern, confident woman. Loved by the working woman the world over, this collection also gives a fantastic nod to their sexier side. The use of sheer is tasteful and elegant and goes from office to cocktails flawlessly.
I LOVE a great jumpsuit, but the real story here is the dresses. Color blocked and midi-length skirts with my new current favorite trend: gorgeous sleeves. With flowing hems and forgiving silhouettes, these are dresses that can serve as investment pieces and stay in your closet as workhorses for seasons to come. Heels are a must, but put a little extra swing in your hips with my pick – the pleats move beautifully.
