This month I will turn 41. I am the first to admit I am not relaxing into my forties and, quite frankly, am not a fan of this age bracket. Still. However, I am a fan of a good skin product. These two things may or may not be related.
My skincare routine is mostly filled with products from the Philosophy line. However, I recently ran out of their When Hope is Not Enough Serum (Is there a product more aptly named? I think not.) Coincidentally, I was reading DKNYPRGirl’s latest Tumblr post and she revealed that she was a fan of the Olay Regenerist line.
I’d heard good things about these products for a few years now. I’ve even had some women tell me they actually chose the Regenerist products over the much lusted after Creme de la Mer luxury offerings. I figured if all these women were headiing for the grocery store instead of Neiman Marcus, there must be something to it.
Well, it appears they may be right.
I’ve been using the Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum for a week now. My skin is smooth and clear and some of the finer lines are less noticeable. The texture of the serum surprised me – it is thicker than what I am used to, but it doesn’t make you feel like you are wearing petroleum jelly. It’s not greasy and my pores are not clogged (and, believe me, my pores clog if you look at them wrong).
The Olay Regenerist products are available just about anywhere – grocery stores, drug stores, Target – and because of this there are offers available. Bonus!
I think it’s worth a shot. Try it out! Do you use any other drug-store based line? Or any of the Regnerist products? I’d love to hear what works for you.
