After looking back on some things that caught my eye this week it appears I am having a season-induced crisis. It’s clearly summer here (as we pray and wish and hope that Hurricane Don lands quickly so it will RAIN ALREADY) – but I find myself drawn to so much about Fall. It’s almost disheartening – because Fall doesn’t show up until, oh, December around here.
In the meantime, I love this Pearl Striped Maxi Skirt from ASOS for the CURRENT season. A little preppy, a little bright, a little color blocked. And? On sale. Go get it.
I am not a sew-er. I sometimes wish I were, but, alas, no. However, THIS project of turning a pleated skirt into a dress over at Welcome to the Good Life is so simple I am actually considering using an old black pleated skirt that’s been hanging in my closet to do this. Adorable and updated!
This has very little do with fashion, but the style of this person’s resume/CV from CV Parade is OUTSTANDING. It has really made me rethink how a resume could look. Leigh, if I had a company and a budget and way, I’d hire you in two seconds. (Assuming you didn’t blow the interview.)
This is how I’d like to spend my days running around this fall. And it’s pretty easy to replicate. Done and Done.
And finally, donuts. BAKED donuts from Tartlette. I am so going to figure out a way to muster up the energy and patience to make these.
Wishing everyone a sweet and easy weekend. Here’s to sleeping late and RAINSTORMS where they’re needed.
