Winter time is BRUTAL on skin. Not only do you get assaulted by the cold, dry wind outside, but the heat indoors does nothing to help the situation. To make matters even worse it’s cold and flu season – which means endlessly drying antihistamines and decongestants and the need to hydrate even MORE.
It’s a wonder we don’t all hibernate like the bears.
Here’s a tip: Put a capful (or so, depending on the general size of your moisturizer bottle) of Vitamin E oil in your go-to body moisturizer. I like the Bliss one above, but any will do. It will amp up the moisturizing effect and make your skin silky smooth.
Vitamin E oil can be found just about everywhere, including drug and grocery stores, but be sure you buy the kind that reads D-ALPHA and NOT DL-ALPHA. The DL version is synthetic – and we don’t do synthetic.
Is your skin suffering as badly as mine is? How are you fighting the winter issues? (Tell me it’s by being on a beach somewhere. I dare you.)
