Pantone Color of the Year

Now THERE’S a breath of fresh air as many of us are burrowing in for the winter – Honeysuckle Pink.

Pantone believes this is THE color for 2011 after exhaustive research – and a lovely color it is. A bit retro in its tone, many are referencing lipstick shades worn by our mothers or grandmothers and heavy “Mad Men” influence.

Will wearing this shade bring Don Draper calling? You’re too refined to say.

Either way, it’s fresh and warm and bold and certainly spring-like. Expect to see this shade on anything from fabric to nail polish to home goods. How will you wear it?
