Faces Update

November 4, 2010

Leah and Benjamin October 2010

Have I shown you these hooligans lately?

They are starting to look more and more alike – eventhough they look so different. It’s funny – the game genetics plays.

My Swimmy and Buddy.
One for me.
One for him.
Dark and translucent.
Blonde and china blues.
Long and lean and graceful.
Swift and solid and powerful.
Constant competitors.
The other’s protector.
Matching smiles.
Matching hearts.

Yup- she looks just like you and he looks just like him. Both adorable. Mine both look exactly alike, except their hair. But very different personalities.

It’s so weird. And to this day I still don’t see the resemblance of me and Leah. I think she looks like Husband, but Benjamin ACTS like Husband.

Wonderful photo 🙂 It is amazing – how much Leah looks like you… do you have a childhood photo you could put alongside one of hers ?

    • Pam Says:

Thank you — If I showed you my younger pictures, you’d see Benjamin – blonde curly hair. But I’ll see what I can dig up for everyone. Husband ought to LOVE this one. 😉

They’re looking soooo grown up!! They need to stop that at once – as my two need to. sigh.
You had blonde curls when you were young? DO DO share photos.
People who know me only, say my eldest looks like me; but those who know my mother in law, all say that eldest is MiL reborn; but as she’s gotten older she reminds me of my sister – body type, way of walking, lots of things. Has my MiL’s sweet nature, thank heaven!
Youngest, on the other hand, I can’t pick who she resembles, but in the way her brain works? Unfortunately, she’s an extreme out there version of me… oh dear.
It’s lots of fun playing the “who do they look like” game, though.

I need to find some old pictures for sure. It’s almost comical. 😉

It’s funny to watch how their faces changes along with their personalities, isn’t it? The game never ends.
