Many Memories Style
It’s that time of year again, only this year it’s even earlier – the hunt for Hanukah cards is on for 2010! I swear the holiday gods are just screwing with us jews this year because it starts almost immediately after Thanksgiving on December 1st.
(You think YOU have holiday shopping stress? Welcome to my world.)
Last year was the first year we sent out holiday cards and I quite enjoyed it. As I started to look around at options for this year, there were several at Shutterfly that caught my eye. The Many Memories style above is one of my favorites. Not only am I a paper snob when it comes to the actual card, but I love that it has multiple picture windows that are varying sizes. In this one I’ll use two pictures of each kid individually and the longer ones for shots with the whole family.
Classic Blue Ribbon Style
This card is another favorite pick of mine from their collection this year. It’s nice to see crisp, clean designs that aren’t too kitschy. Festive and modern. This style of card is outstanding if you have one really terrific picture of the family or dog or that new pair of Jimmy Choos you adore. (Hey, it’s a season of celebration, right?!)
I think I’ll put the beach in that picture on my Hanukah list.
Eight Bright Nights Style
This card I love because if you’re going to incorporate any of the Hanukah symbols, at least make it look fairly cool. This card is still modern and clean in design but adds a little splash of fun with the whimsical menorah graphic. Pick a good picture for this one, too. Something with munchable cheeks, I think.
