The Ultimate Closet Editing Challenge – 15:30 – Day 14

15in30 Day 14

Ladies and gentlemen, a SKIRT! And I am one item closer to having worn all 15 of my items. Today was a day of running some accessory-related errands that took me to the fashionable part of town. Of course, after the thinking part of the morning, I may or may not have browsed a favorite shopping haunt for a few minutes. I admit nothing.

And, yes. I have cheated today. That black tank top is not part of the original 15 pieces. My white t-shirt was in the wash and I forgot to dry it and, quite frankly, it was obscenely hot today. Forgive me. I throw myself on the mercy of the fashionable court.

Tomorrow is the halfway point!

Shirt: Mossimo tank from Target
Skirt: XCVI from Nordstrom
Shoes: Calvin Klein
Necklace: H&M

I am participating in The Ultimate Wardrobe Challenge to see if living simply with 15 items of clothing can also mean living creatively and well. I will post my ensemble every day. Join me and at the end we’ll either clean out our closets or go on a massive shopping spree. Or both!

100+ degrees again. I see how you’re steaming up the back porch!

That’s a very intereting looking skirt. It looks like charmeuse satin, but it’s more structured. What is it made out of? And the tank looks good with it (even if it is cheating, lol).

It is an interesting skirt – I love the texture of it. It’s actually just cotton – kinda reminds me of how a parachute is folded up. I found it last year at Nordstrom and it’s been a STAPLE ever since!
